Every care-experienced young person deserves to be heard, valued, and empowered to shape their own future.
Our independent Social Return on Investment (SROI) report, completed by Matatihi, shows the impact of investing in care-experienced rangatahi through VOYCE Whakarongo Mai. The findings demonstrate strong social value, alongside outcomes that can’t be measured in dollars alone—stronger identity and mana, greater trust and belonging, increased confidence, and more meaningful participation in decisions that affect young people’s lives.
With more than 5,600 young people in care across Aotearoa in 24/25, the report highlights both the difference VOYCE is making and the significant unmet need that remains. It reinforces what rangatahi have always told us: when young people are listened to, supported, and connected, better outcomes follow.
The need is clear, the impact is real, and the opportunity to create lasting change for care-experienced young people has never been greater.
